Tokyo DisneySea Eighth Port

Tokyo Disney Resort – The first Disney theme park to be built outside of the United States, Tokyo Disneyland opened on April 15, 1983. Owned and operated by the Oriental Land Company, Tokyo Disney Resort is home to two theme parks, four Disney-branded hotels and the Ikspiari shopping, dining and entertainment district. Known as the Kingdom of Magic and Dreams to its Japanese guests, Tokyo Disneyland is modeled after the original Disneyland Park.

Tokyo Disney Resort 35th ‘Happiest Celebration!' will be held through March 25, 2019. During the anniversary period, guest can experience a new daytime parade, new entertainment programs, special merchandise and special menu items at both parks. The resort has announced a Tokyo Disneyland development, which will include a new Beauty and the Beast-inspired area in Fantasyland and a new Big Hero 6-themed attraction in Tomorrowland. Oriental Land Company also announced an expansion at Tokyo DisneySea that will create an eighth themed port to open in 2022 with three distinct areas recreating the worlds of the Disney films "Frozen," "Tangled" and "Peter Pan," as well as a deluxe hotel with a one-of-a-kind luxury wing.
