Fast Company Honors MyMagic+ as Top Experience in Innovation by Design Awards

On October 15, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts was honored as the winner of The 2014 Innovation By Design Award in the Experience category for MyMagic+ at Walt Disney World. The award was presented by Fast Company at their annual Innovation By Design Awards and conference where they honored problem solvers and innovators for the best designs of 2014.

Fifty finalists from all over the world in categories ranging from products to architecture were narrowed down to the top 10 innovative projects of the year. After little deliberation, judges unanimously chose MyMagic+ as the winner in Experience, calling it “a peek at a smarter, more automated future, with applications beyond the theme park.”
