Anthony Connelly

Anthony Connelly is the executive vice president, Business Operations and Project Delivery for Walt Disney Imagineering. In this role, Anthony oversees the strategic implementation of WDI’s financial, material and labor resources along with facilitating the development of Imagineering projects around the world from design to completion.

Anthony most recently served as senior vice president, Disney Cruise Line, responsible for all operations fleetwide including onboard entertainment, youth activities, marine and technical operations, purchasing, logistics and shoreside travel operations, as well as Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay.

Since joining Disney in 1989, Anthony has advanced through various key leadership positions, including serving as senior vice president and chief financial officer for U.S. parks for seven years. He was also responsible for the financial planning and controllership functions of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts worldwide.

Anthony has been actively involved in the state and local community, serving as chair of the Florida Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He also served on the boards of Enterprise Florida, Florida Justice Reform Institute, University of Central Florida Foundation, and Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida. In addition, he was a member of Governor Rick Scott’s Economic Development transition team as well as a member of Florida Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater’s transition team.

A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Anthony received a degree in business administration in 1987 and went on to earn and MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 2000. Anthony is also a certified public accountant in the state of Florida.
